Common Name: Rock Orchid, Pink Rock Orchid

Origin: Eastern Australia (Queensland and New South Wales)

Type: Cool-growing, deciduous sympodial orchid

Blooming: Late winter to early spring (February-April)

This hardy Australian orchid is perfect for beginners and experienced growers alike. Known for its fragrant pink to white flowers and tolerance of temperature variations.

Growing Conditions

Requirement Details
Light Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some morning sun. 2000-3000 foot-candles.
Temperature Cool to intermediate. Days: 65-75°F, Nights: 50-60°F. Can tolerate brief drops to 40°F.
Humidity 50-70%. Provide good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
Water Water regularly during growing season. Reduce significantly in winter (November-February).
Fertilizer Balanced fertilizer (20-20-20) at 1/4 strength weekly during growing season.
